Hello!
To all of my blog followers out there who aren't officially following- make your presence known. I am curious to see who is out there reading. And I promise from here on out I will not mention my Chick Fila experiences and focus more on the good stuff! I have been asked if I am an undercover rep for Chick Fila or if they are sponsoring my travels-I would be honored, just kidding.
This past weekend By Smith showed in AmericasMart Apparel Show marking our 4th trade-show appearance. The show was a success for us and we made new friends! Collier and I love going to market because we end up meeting some pretty cool people. This show our booth was set up next to some new designers- Annie Griffin and Terri King. They both have amazing lines!! Annie is another Atlanta designer which is exciting! I now have a local designer friend! It will definitely be nice to have someone near by working in the same field- as Atlanta is definitely not saturated with local fashion designers. Her fall collection is fabulous! During the show she had one of her close friend's Shibahn from Memphis helping out. Shibahn if you are reading- thanks for keeping us entertained! Terri's collection is innovative and one of the coolest things I have ever seen! She is the designer for V-Moda which was originally the company that launched those metal headphones. Most of Terri's designs transform so they can be worn in several different ways. I bought a pair of leather shorts from her that are so cool- I may need to plan a trip around these shorts and go somewhere very posh. Terri King has done custom designing for rock legends such as Keith Richards, Grace Jones, Marilyn Manson, etc.

Things are rolling right along for Fall 2010! I think you could say we have come a long way from our list of two stores in September of '09 to our list of 25 + for Fall! We are not stopping here!! It hasn't been an easy road, but the success makes everything worth it. Get excited for more news to come! For now I am getting back on the road! This upcoming weekend Collier and I will be in Birmingham for a Trunk Show at Lulie's on Cahaba. If you are in town the show is from 11 am to 3 pm- stop by and see us!
